The preparations for our "A Stroll Around" gala on June 4 continue with excitement and enthusiasm. We look forward to our celebratory event– plus it’s a fundraiser with all proceeds going to support the school’s ASWforUkraine relief efforts. We hope you can join us.
When you and your friends arrive at the gala, here’s what you can expect:
After parking, you’ll make your way to the back annex patio area. There you will see a space that is alive with student performers– jazz band, rock band, high school wind ensemble, coffee house singers, and theatre performances. With your celebratory drink in hand continue your stroll around and encounter student art, a showcase of student service projects, and more!
When it’s time for dinner, guests will be treated to a lovely buffet dinner catered by Hotel Belvedere. The offerings are varied and bound to please. The dinner program itself will feature words of welcome as well as examples of the school community’s response to the crisis in Ukraine. We will also be treated to more student performances. The transition between dining and dancing will feature the results of the raffle and the silent auction (all the prizes and auction items will be announced next week). The evening will conclude with dancing. What’s not to love?!
The deadline for registration is Monday, 30 May. The price includes food and drink (soft drinks and wine and beer) and a seat at a table with your friends (current or soon-to-be).
